§ Mr. Charles WardleThe safer cities project to be set up in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne will encompass the metropolitan district of Newcastle upon Tyne, which is served by four basic command units within the Northumbria police force, namely—Newcastle central, Newcastle east, Newcastle west and Newcastle north.
