To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the number of people who will pay insurance premium tax.

[holding answer 24 January 1994]: Evidence from the 1991 family expenditure survey suggests that around 16.5 million households—85 per cent. —will pay insurance premium tax.
