To ask the Secretary of State for Education in which national newspapers the Department of Education places advertisements for appointments to the Ofsted inspectorate.

Since its establishment in September 1992, Ofsted has been responsible for its own appointments procedures for inspectors and the Department for Education places no advertising on its behalf.
