To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assistance Her Majesty's Government have given to Iran to help refugees from Iraq; and if he will make a statement.

Since 1991 we have contributed £2,216,000 to helping Iraqi refugees in Iran. These sums include £200,000 to CARE; £320,000 to the Iraqi humanitarian relief committee; £52,000 to the South Manchester accident and rescue team; £20,000 to the Association of Pioneer Relief Officers; £1 million to the International Commission of the Red Cross and £624,000
