To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations his Department has received on draft guidelines prepared by the sea mammal research unit on precautions to minimise acoustic disturbance to small cetaceans.

My Department has received no written representations on the draft guidelines, and three telephoned inquiries from two non-governmental organisations.
