§ Mr. Nigel Griffiths
To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will investigate the collapse of Tours Direct and New Vista travel companies.

§ Mr. Neil Hamilton
Tours Direct Ltd. was dissolved in October 1993 and could not be subject to Companies Act inquiries.
Such inquiries are confidential and I cannot comment on whether or not New Vista Travel Ltd. is being, or has been, investigated. Nevertheless, I am prepared to consider any information the hon. Member may provide in the usual way.
