HC Deb 24 January 1994 vol 236 c77W
13. Mr. Mullin

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how much public money he proposes to spend on new roads during the next three years; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Key

In 1994–95, I plan to spend around £1.3 billion on new construction of national roads in England. For each of the following two years, the figure is about £1.2 billion.
