Mr. RookerTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make an assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of a dedicated junction on the M6 motorway in Birmingham to service the inland container point and the Holford industrial estate taking into account the effect upon local roads of such a junction.
§ Mr. KeyUndertaking such an assessment would serve no useful purpose in view of the Department's firm policy not to permit dedicated accesses from motorways to serve private developments.
