To ask the President of the Board of Trade what progress he has made in identifying one representative from each business sector to facilitate dialogue with his Department.

My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade established a range of business sector divisions in the Department in 1992 and successfully recruited a business secondee into each of them to help facilitate an informed dialogue between Government and business.
