§ Mr. HanleyThe reduction of £25,000 in the cost of providing ministerial cars since 1990–91 is due essentially to the number of Ministers in the Department falling from five to four since 1990–91, resulting in a cost saving of £11,000, and the return to normal usage following heightened ministerial requirements during the Gulf conflict, which accounts for a reduction of £14,000.
