To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many military exercises involving the operational use of both HMS Intrepid and HMS Fearless have been held in each year since 1982; and if he will make a statement.

As HMS Intrepid and HMS Fearless have alternated between being fully operational, and being refitted or held in a state of extended readiness, there have been no exercises, in the time period specified, in which both ships have participated.
