§ Mr. MallonTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence when he will give details of the results of the review of the helicopter noise insulation scheme in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. HanleyThe Ministry of Defence noise insulation grant scheme has now been extended at the helicopter landing sites as Bessbrook, Forkhill and Crossmaglen. Details of the scheme have been passed to the Newry and Mourne district council. A meeting is being arranged with the council when a detailed explanation of the scheme will be given. All householders concerned will be notified about the scheme and how to apply for a grant.
