HC Deb 19 January 1994 vol 235 c681W
Mr. John D.Taylor

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what steps have been taken to provide a Union flag for the hospital at Tower Hill, Armagh; what arrangements have been made to fly the Union flag at these premises on the designated dates; why it was not flown on 1 January; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Ancram

The Union flag is normally flown at Tower Hill hospital on the designated dates. A breakdown in the local arrangements for flying the flag resulted in the flag not being flown on 1 January.
