§ Mr. DowdTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many times the working party exploring the Thames transport potential has met; what reports it has published; and if he will name its current members.
§ Mr. NorrisThe River Thames working group which I chair has met twice. It is currently analysing the substantial number of responses received from a wide-ranging consultation exercise and expects to produce a report of its findings and recommendations in the summer.
The current members of the group are David Bayliss, director of planning, London Transport; David Jeffery, chief executive, Port of London authority ; Eric Sorensen, chief executive London Docklands development corporation; and Robin Clement, deputy chief planner, London Planning Advisory Council. Dick Barker represented London First until recently; I hope to make an announcement shortly about his successor. Officials from the Departments of Transport and of the Environment also attend.
