§ Mr. FreemanParallel bridges over the Medway are being planned for the M2 widening scheme and the channel tunnel rail link; the bridges can be built sequentially or at the same time. It is possible to provide for both approaches either through joint approval in a hybrid Bill, or with separate approval of the road scheme under Highways Act order procedures.
