§ Mr. KeyThe Secretary of State announced last August a review of the road programme to establish more clearly defined priorities within it. The review is now in progress and the aim is to announce the conclusions in time for the launch of the Highways Agency in April.
The timing of any schemes in the programme for improvements to the A590 between the M6 and Barrow is dependent on the outcome of this review.
