To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is his estimate of the total number of people killed in former Yugoslavia since the break-up of that country.

We have seen no reliable figures on the number of casualties since the break-up of the former Yugoslavia, but the numbers are very large.
