To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will make it her policy to oppose in the World Health Assembly the withdrawal of resolution WHA4640 of534W 14 May 1993 on the request to the International Court of Justice for an advisory opinion on the legal status of the use by a state of nuclear weapons in armed conflict.

The agenda for the May 1994 World Health Assembly has not yet been published. We are unaware of any proposal for a resolution which would negate resolution WHA 46.40.
