Mr. Hain

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what were the numbers of(a) recorded crime, per police officer, (b) recorded crime per 100,000 population for each year since 1979 for the South Wales, Thames Valley, Kent, Lancashire, Avon and Somerset and Hampshire police areas; and what were the comparable totals for all non-metropolitan and Welsh non-metropolitan police authorities.
