§ Mr. SackvilleMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health will be extending by six months from 1 February 1994 current private sector approvals to carry out termination of pregnancy under the Abortion Act 1967, as amended. This will allow the Department of Health to complete a review of current arrangements for approving and monitoring places so approved. Any changes will be introduced from 1 August 1994. All places currently approved under section 1(3) of the Act are being informed.
