To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what night flying facilities are available at West Freugh airfield.

Mr. Hanley

West Freugh airfield is capable of providing all the facilities necessary for night flying; it is equipped with runway, taxi-way and approach lighting and air traffic, crash, fire and refuelling facilities can be made available in support of night flying detachments.
