To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what evidence he has on the numbers of children watching after the 9 pm watershed.

Statistics on the make-up of television audiences are not collected by my Department, but the table sets out data, compiled by the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board and interpreted by the BBC, on television viewing by children during a recent period.
