§ Mr. Gwilym JonesRevised guidelines were published in July last year in planning policy guidance note No. 6. These advise that the scale, type and location of out-of centre retail developments should not be such as to undermine the vitality and visibility of those town centres that would otherwise serve the community well. The guidance is being kept under review.
