§ Mr. BoswellThe Department does not hold records of members of further education college governing bodies prior to the passing of the Education Reform Act 1988, nor of members of further education college corporations, since in neither case was the Secretary of State the appointing authority. In the case of sixth form college corporations, my right hon. Friend was responsible for the appointment of the initial members only. Current records are not held by the Department.
