§ Mr. BowisThe changes to the rules governing disregards and the entitlement to family credit, announced in the Budget by my right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer, will stimulate expansion of child care services. These changes have effect in October this year. We shall announce measures in the Department's field to support these important changes before then.
