§ Mr. Douglas HoggOur policy of non-proliferation aspects of reprocessing at THORP is set out in the statement of Government policy on reprocessing and operation of the thermal oxide reprocessing plant at Sellafield: a copy of this statement is in the Library of the House. The statement makes it clear that we consider that any potential proliferation risks associated with the operation of THORP are satisfactorily met by the existing arrangements to prevent theft, sabotage and diversion.
