§ Mr. StewartMr. Fyfe brought to the chairmanship of Greater Glasgow health board in April 1993 the qualities of leadership he had displayed earlier over 12 years as chairman of Ayrshire and Arran health board. His actions in dismissing Mr. Peterken, however, led the non-executive members of the board to lose confidence in him.
