To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what was the annual cost to the Department of the car service for Ministers in 1990–91; and how many vehicles were involved.

[pursuant to his reply, 8 December 1993, column 741]: The answer I gave the right hon. Member on 15 December at column 741 contained an error. The cost to the Defence budget of providing five vehicles for Defence Department Ministers in 1990–91 was some £200,000.
