§ Mr. WinnickTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if immediate steps will now be taken to withdraw the United Kingdom citizenship of Alexander Schweidler; and if he will make it his policy in future to refuse him entry into the United Kingdom on the grounds that his presence will not be conducive to the public good.
§ Mr. Charles WardleWhere allegations of war crimes have been made against a British citizen or a person resident in the United Kingdom, they fall to be investigated by the police war crimes unit. Where a naturalised British citizen is involved, it would not be appropriate to consider deprivation of citizenship until those investigations had been completed. British citizens cannot be refused entry to the United Kingdom.
