§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the total expenditure by her Department on administration in 1992–93; what is the estimated outturn for expenditure by her Department on administration for 1993–94 in (i) cash terms and (ii) real terms in 1992–93 prices; and what is her estimate for expenditure on administration by her Department for 1994–95 in(a) cash terms and (b) 1992–93 prices.
§ Mr. Jack[holding answer 16 December 1993]: (i) The final outturn for the recurrent costs of running the Department in 1992–93 is £358 million.
(ii) The estimated outturn for 1993–94 is £418 million. This reflects the reduction on the Department's gross running cost limit announced by the Minister on 1 November 1993.
(iii) The Department's planned running costs expenditure for 1994–95 is £407 million.
