§ Mr. SoamesThe most recent results for dioxin concentrations in milk from farms in the Bolsover area of Derbyshire were announced in the November edition of the Food Safety Directorate information bulletin and I wrote to the hon. Member on 15 December 1993 enclosing a copy of the announcement and details of the results.
These indicated that the degree of dioxin contamination in the area was falling.
The Ministry will undertake a further survey of milk from farms in the area this year.
