§ Mr. WaldegraveIn March 1993 I established an independent committee to advise me on how the potential, skills and expertise of women could best be used for national advantage and for the benefit of science, engineering and technology. The committee published its report, "The Rising Tide", this morning and I am arranging for copies to be placed in the Libraries of both Houses. The Government welcome the report as a valuable contribution to the debate and will now consider its recommendations.
