§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonMy right hon. Friend has no plans to meet tenants' organisations to discuss housing needs in Glasgow. In the first instance, it is for the City of Glasgow district council to assess the housing needs of its area. In the course of my own housing visits in the Glasgow area I often meet tenants and hear their concerns at first hand while my officials are in regular contact with the council.
