HC Deb 22 February 1994 vol 238 c187W
Mr. Dunnachie

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many senior citizens are currently living in local authority sheltered housing complexes in Scotland; and if he will make a statement.

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

Figures are held centrally only on the number of sheltered dwellings in Scotland and this was 32,202 at 31 March 1992. This figure is included in the publication "Housing Trends in Scotland: Quarter ended 30 June 1992—Table 19, HSG/1992/8" which is available in the Library.
