§ Mr. Hanley[holding answer 14 February 1994]: It is not our practice to disclose the establishment of units in the Army. There are, however, currently seven major arms and services in the Army which have a shortfall of trained manpower against their manpower planning targets. These are shown, together with the percentage to which they are currently manned. If it is deployed, 2 Royal Anglian would be at its full peacetime establishment but in addition some 35 soldiers would be required as reinforcement from elsewhere in the Queen's Division.
