To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on his most recent discussions with ReChem about sources of toxic emissions.

[holding answer 14 February 1994]: Neither my right hon. Friend nor I have had discussions with ReChem about sources of toxic emissions. However, Her Majesty's inspectorate of pollution (HMIP) has, and continues to be in regular contact with ReChem regarding the authorisation and operation of its incinerators.
