§ Mr. AltonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the result of the survey carried out into the nature and extent of ritual abuse in Britain by Jean La Fontaine and the Obscene Publications Department of Scotland Yard; and if the result will be made public.
§ Mr. MacleanThe results of research carried out by the Obscene Publications Branch of the Metropolitan police are not yet ready for publication. It will be for the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis to decide what information he wishes to make public, as it will be for the Department of Health to decide in the case of the separate research study by Professor la Fontaine.
