§ Mr. MacGregorThe recently announced reduction in running costs compared to the PES 1992 baseline applies to the Department's gross running cost control total. Of the Department's five executive agencies, only the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency's running costs fall within the control total. DVLA will reduce running costs in 1994–95 by efficiency savings that were already planned as part of its target setting and planning arrangements.
