To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer who are the members currently appointed to the Top Salaries Review Body.

Mr. Portillo

As announced in theOfficial Report, 26 July 1993, column 559, the Top Salaries Review Body was renamed the Senior Salaries Review Body last year. Its current members are:

  • Sir David Nickson KBE DL (Chairman)
  • Professor George Bain
  • Mrs. Louise Botting CBE
  • Ms Ann Burdus
  • Sir Peter Cazalet
  • Sir Cecil Clothier KCB QC
  • Mr. Gordon Hourston
  • Mr. Hugh Pigott
  • Sir Anthony Wilson

Members are appointed by, and the review body reports to, the Prime Minister.
