The number of prosecutions of individual police officers who have been charged with "perverting the course of justice" or perjury in the years 1987 to 1993 inclusive and the percentage of prosecutions which have achieved convictions.

This information is not available. Figures on the number of police officers who have been convicted of perjury and other irregularities in relation to evidence began to be collected in 1993 and will be published later this year and in subsequent years.
