Mr. John Evans

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security how many children there were in families receiving supplementary benefit in(a) England and (b) the north-west region of England in 1979; and how many children there were in families receiving supplementary benefit/income support in (i) England and (ii) the north-west region of England at the latest available dale.
