§ Mr. Nelson[holding answer 1 February 1994]: Except for minor cases (eg misuse of stationery, postal services and sick certificates), staff found guilty of fraud have been dismissed. The number each year since 1989 is:

§ Mr. Nelson[holding answer 1 February 1994]: Where evidence appears sufficient to obtain a conviction, cases are considered for referral to the police for further 247W investigation and possible prosecution. All cases of fraud are also considered under the Treasury's disciplinary procedures.
