To ask the Lord President of the Council how many working days the House sat; and how many it was in recess in each of the last 20 calendar years.

The table sets out the number of sitting and non-sitting days in the 20 years from 1974 to 1993. The number of non-sitting days does not include weekends or bank holidays.
