§ Mr. SackvilleInformation on private patient income of National Health Service trust hospitals for 1991–92 and 1992–93 will be placed in the Library. There are no figures for 1990–91 as NHS trusts did not exist in that year. The overall increase in private patient income for trusts is partially due to the increased number of trusts in 1992–93. The income raised is used to improve services for all patients.
