To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how the Overseas Development Administration is supporting the work of non-governmental organisations in helping to meet the long-term needs of the poorest communities in developing countries.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

In 1992–93 the ODA gave a total of £77 million to support the long-term development programmes of British non-governmental organisations.
