To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has received a plan from the companies of the packaging chain to recover packaging waste.

My hon. Friend the Minister for the Environment and Countryside, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Trade and Technology and I will be meeting the producer responsibility group on Monday 7 February. We expect to receive a plan from the group at that meeting. I will ensure that copies are placed in the Library.
