HC Deb 04 February 1994 vol 236 c957W
Mr. Foulkes

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent representations he has made to the Government of Libya to make two of its citizens available to face charges concerning the Lockerbie bombing; what responses he has recently received from the Libyan Government on this matter; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Douglas Hogg

I have made no such representa-tions. The Libyan Government are fully aware of the requirements of the United Nations Security Council, and in particular that they should ensure the apearance of those accused of the Lockerbie bombing for trial before the appropriate United States or United Kingdom court.
