§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonSubstantial resources totalling some £405 million have been made available to local authorities for capital investment in public sector housing in 1993–94. For 1994–95 additional resources will be made available to enable local authorities to contribute to the care in the community policy including the provision of sheltered housing. I will announce these allocations shortly.
