§ Dr. MawhinneyUnder their terms of service—schedule 2 to the National Health Service (General850W Medical Services) Regulations 1992,—general practitioners are required to issue a defined list of certificates to their patients free of charge, including those needed to support claims for a number of social security benefits. The list of certificates is kept under review.
