§ Mr. Sproat[holding answer 1 February 1994]: Where an employee is found guilty of fraud the circumstances of the case would be thoroughly investigated and an appropriate disciplinary penalty, which might include dismissal, would be invoked.
§ Mr. Menzies CampbellTo ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage how many employees were judged to be guilty of fraud in his Department in each year since 1989; and how many were dismissed.
§ Mr. Sproat[holding answer 1 February 1994]: The Department of National Heritage was established in April 1992, since when no employees have been found guilty of fraud.
